The Princess of Wales Hospital (Ely) Charitable Trust is a local charity dedicated to enhancing the care and support provided at the Princess of Wales Hospital.
Established in 2023, the Trust raises funds for essential equipment, improved facilities and new initiatives that help the hospital deliver dependable, high-quality care at the heart of the Ely community. Working alongside local NHS partners, it supports projects that improve patient care beyond what NHS funding alone can provide.
The Trust has already helped to fund new audiology and asthma equipment. Its priorities for 2026 and beyond include an ultrasound machine, increased day surgery provision and the development of the Minor Injuries Unit into an Urgent Treatment Centre.
Members of the King’s Ely community can support the Trust by donating, volunteering, fundraising, exploring corporate sponsorship opportunities or simply helping to spread the word.
