Old Eleans |
At the end of August, we were thrilled to host our first ever Young Alumni Event, welcoming back members of the Classes of 2021 to 2025 for an evening of relaxed celebration and reconnection.
Held in the Old Palace garden, the event featured a wood-fired pizza oven, pick and mix station and bar, creating a warm and informal atmosphere where alumni could catch up with old friends and beloved teachers. It was a joy to see former students sharing stories of their journeys since graduation, whether they’ve been studying, working, travelling, or exploring new passions.
The evening was also a chance for alumni to exchange advice and experiences with each other, from navigating Freshers Week to setting up student bank accounts. Many alumni also offered to organise pub meet-ups in university cities, helping our new alumni feel connected as they begin their next chapter at university. These peer-to-peer conversations were full of laughter, insight, and encouragement, reminding us of the strength and generosity of our alumni community.
We’re so proud of everything our alumni have achieved, and we already look forward to next years opportunity to celebrate and stay connected with our youngest Old Eleans.
